Linda Solomon has consistently dedicated her time to developing educational programs that introduce cameras and photography to children of all ages. She has personally visisted hundreds of classrooms and founded programs, such as "It's A Snap", which have collectively provided over one million cameras to elementary school children.
Currently, she is working on "Pictures of Hope", visiting Salvation Army Shelters in ten cities. Sponsored by General Motors, the program will allow children to create Holiday cards with their images of hope and beautiful words.

Previously, her "My Holiday Wish" program, for children in Orlando, Florida and Raleigh, North Carolina homeless shelters, gained national acclaim. Photographs taken by these children were transformed into greeting cards sold through the Salvation Army in both cities, with 100 percent of the proceeds directly benefiting women and children in city homeless shelters.
